KeepMoment: Photo Cleaner ("KeepMoment", "we", "our", or "us") is designed to help you organize similar photos, create memory cards, and release extra originals with more control.

This Privacy Policy explains how KeepMoment handles information when you use our app.

1. Our Privacy Approach

Your photo library can contain personal and meaningful moments. KeepMoment is built around a simple principle: photo cleanup should feel careful, private, and under your control.

KeepMoment is designed to process similar photo scanning, memory card creation, and cleanup actions on your iPhone whenever possible. We do not want your photos to be treated as files to upload or data to exploit.

2. Photos and Photo Library Access

KeepMoment may request access to your photo library so the app can:

- Detect groups of similar photos

- Help you create memory cards from selected photos

- Let you review original photos before releasing space

- Save generated memory cards to your device or photo library, if you choose to do so

- Move selected originals to the system Recently Deleted area when you choose to release them

Your photos are used to provide the app's core features.

Unless clearly stated otherwise in the app, KeepMoment is designed so that photo scanning and cleanup happen on your device. We do not sell your photos.

3. Information We Process

Depending on the features you use, KeepMoment may process the following information on your device:

- Photos and videos available through the photo library permission you grant

- Photo metadata, such as creation time, file size, and asset identifiers

- Similarity information used to group related photos

- Memory card content generated from photos you select

- Cleanup selections, such as which originals you choose to keep or release

- App preferences, such as template choice, title edits, text style, and background settings

This information is used to provide the app experience and is expected to remain on your device unless a feature explicitly requires sharing, exporting, backup, analytics, diagnostics, or another external service.

4. Local Processing

KeepMoment is designed to perform similar photo detection and cleanup logic on your iPhone.

This means the app can organize similar photos and help you review originals without needing to upload your photo library for scanning.

If future versions introduce cloud processing, account sync, backup, or any other feature that transmits photo-related data off your device, we will update this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy information accordingly.

5. Memory Cards

When you create a memory card, KeepMoment uses the photos you select to generate a visual card. You may be able to edit the title, adjust text style, adapt the background, or choose a film-style layout.

Memory cards are created for your personal use. If you choose to save, export, or share a memory card, that action may use iOS system sharing, Photos, Files, or other apps you select. We do not control the privacy practices of third-party apps or services you choose to share with.

6. Cleanup and Recently Deleted

When you choose to release original photos, KeepMoment helps move the selected originals through the iOS photo library deletion flow. On iOS, deleted photos usually move to the system Recently Deleted area first.

To fully free storage, you may need to manage Recently Deleted in the Apple Photos app. KeepMoment does not control how long iOS keeps deleted photos or how the system calculates available storage after deletion.

7. Data We Do Not Sell

We do not sell your photos or personal information.

We do not use your photos for targeted advertising.

We do not use your photo library to build advertising profiles.

8. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Third-Party Services

KeepMoment uses limited analytics and diagnostics to understand app performance, fix crashes, and improve the product experience.We may use:

- Apple’s app analytics and diagnostics, including privacy-preserving or aggregated information made available by Apple

- Firebase services, such as Firebase Analytics and/or Firebase Crashlytics, to help us understand app usage, monitor stability, and diagnose crashes

These services may process information such as:

- Device type and operating system version

- App version and language/region settings

- Usage events, such as feature interactions and screen activity

- Performance data

- Crash logs and diagnostic information

- Anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers used for analytics or diagnostics

We do not intentionally include your photos, memory card images, photo thumbnails, or photo library contents in analytics events or crash reports.

Firebase is provided by Google. Information processed by Firebase is handled according to Google’s applicable privacy and security practices. We use these services to improve KeepMoment, not to sell your photos or build advertising profiles from your photo library.

9. Purchases and Subscriptions

If KeepMoment offers paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card information.

We may receive limited purchase-related information from Apple or a subscription management service, such as purchase status, subscription status, product identifier, transaction information, or renewal state, only as needed to unlock paid features and manage subscriptions.

10. Data Retention

Information processed locally by KeepMoment generally remains on your device until you delete it, change app settings, remove generated content, or uninstall the app.

If the app uses analytics, diagnostics, subscription services, or support tools, retention periods may depend on those services and their settings.

11. Your Choices and Controls

You can control KeepMoment's access and behavior in several ways:

- Change photo library permission in iOS Settings

- Choose which photo groups to open

- Choose which originals to keep or release

- Keep originals instead of releasing them

- Delete generated memory cards, if stored in the app

- Delete the app from your device

- Manage Recently Deleted in the Apple Photos app

If you revoke photo library access, some KeepMoment features may stop working.

12. Children’s Privacy

KeepMoment is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by KeepMoment. However, no app, device, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Processing photos on device where possible helps reduce unnecessary data transfer and supports a more private experience.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or on our website.

Your continued use of KeepMoment after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
